I ordered a dress, £70.00 from the website Karen Millen dress uk store. Which turned out to be under the umbrella of this company. The dress arrived in a shoe box with an invoice for girls shoes taped to the front. Immediately alarm bells were ringing.To cut a long story short the dress was counterfeit. I asked for their returns policy and they refused me a refund. I pestered them every day for a week. Eventually, they sent an e-mail stating they were a counterfeit company and would not refund my money. I just don't want anyone else to loose good money to these people. It's taught me a hard lesson though.
I spent $456.98 with this company and received nothing, I emailed the company several times and they did not even reply. They are fraudulent. Do you have a specific contact there I can try and deal with ?
I recently went on this website for a dress for my fiancee as we were attending 2 weddings and a christening this month, therefore she wanted a nice dress that would fit all 3 ocassions.
At first glance this website seems very good, as they have a lot to choose from and the prices are very reasonable, plus the added bonus is they seemed to have hundreds in stock of almost every item. PERFECT!!
NO - Not perfect, once they had taken my money I then got an email saying that the item was not in stock that we had chosen (even though it said there were 174 in stock on their website).
Thats OK we said, the dress is also available in another colour so we'll have that colour instead.
Nope, you'll never guess - thats not in stock either (even though that was showing as 97 in stock).
They then sent some alternative dresses via weblinks, both of which were NOTHING at all like the one my fiancee had chosen and frankly were a "pile of rubbish"!!!
I then asked for a refund and they answered back within minutes.
"OK we will refund your money - BUT heres the best bit... the bank will charge me 19%!!!"
As you can imagine this riled me somewhat and I am now in the middle of seeking legal advice to not only get my money back but also recoop some compensation for them with-holding my money.
This site looks good on the face value, but trust me when I say if they treat you like they did me and my fiancee, you will not be happy with the product (if it arrives, and if its not what they have tried to persuade you to have rather than what you originally ordered)
ROGUES!!!! Stay well clear of them.
It is however a good site to get "IDEAS" for dresses and then search for them elsewhere online as they have a huge amount of stock "ADVERTISED". Whether they actually have the stock is another question though.
