NEVER EVER USE www.nochex.com nochex or softxpress or xpmobile for anything. If you buy anything from the internet always use your credit card directly - do not use any payment processor such as nochex or paypal as you are not fully protected if something goes wrong. As I found out to my cost.

The best thing to do is to call up your credit card company ask them to stop your card & send a new card which will have a different number & other details this will stop any more transaction being processed on the card. every credit card is covered for fradulent transactoins made on internet by defult from master card & visa card so dont panic credit card company are the best people to help you in this case.

Hey people,

I've had a problem. I've always wanted to buy something to impress my parents, but never have had the guts to.
So, when I saw the softxpressproperty.co.uk site, I knew exactly what I had to do.

Buy a hotel.

Yup, so I did. It was a great hotel...with lovely balconies, built-in restaurant and a porter in the lobby. Receptionists weren't included.

But still, it was pretty nifty.

I didn't know the exact address of it, so I asked to have the hotel delivered to my door...I emailed them and I said I'd pay an extra thousand to have that done.

They said sure...just hold on for a few days.
I also requested to have air conditioning installed, with a few rooms for pets and stuff.

But for reason, nothing has happened. I've been waiting for 99 days now, and no hotel has arrived.

I checked the web, and their site is no longer in existence. I checked my mail, and nothing is there.
I checked the register of companies, and they're not in business anymore.

What has gone wrong?

If anyone has any info about this company, please mail me!

I desperately want to find them. Now.

JPMC is the company that handles PayPal's direct debits, so if you pay someone using PayPal, PayPal will get the money from your bank account, and it'll appear on your statement as JPMC. Simple as.

 thedude at 29th May 2005, 08:04PM
Hi, I am not sure what is going on but a couple of moths back I noticed while looking at my bank statment online that there was a transaction for JPMC RE: PAYPAL IN. I was ordering alot of stuff from ebay at the time and did not think anything of it as it said it was going though paypal. About a month later the same thing came up JPMC RE: PAYPAL IN again though I had ordered a few thing from ebay so I took no notice off it. I was looking at my bank account about thirty minutes ago and notices that this month I had been charged not once but seven times adding up to a total of £222.78 (not including the last couple of months). I have ordered a few items this past month and have gone back and cheacked all my online statements for things I have ordered. There is nothing on any of my online accounts for the ammount shown. If anyone has any information about the company that have been talking money from me then please let me know. I will be going to my bank tomorrow to see what they can do and I will also be informing the police. I had never heard of this company before it started shoing up on my account and the thing that get me the most is that it was going though direct debit. They most have gotten my info from paypal who I though were ment to be a secure site. After seing this I belive that my hotmail account is safer.

I think i have been subject to this company's scamming. I have never hear of them before today. I had a direct debit come out of my account that i don't remember setting up from JPMC Re:EBAY. I have an account with paypal and now think it has something to do this this. I haven't actually used my papypal account before because it wouldn't work and now this money has been taken out of my account without me really knowing anything about it. I don't really know where this has come from or what it is so if anyone has any details I would be grateful.

I tried to purchase accounting software just before Christmas and have never had the product delivered. According to thier web site before Christmas they have had thier on-line payment account closed. Like everyone else on here it would appear that I too, have been the victim of a fraudulant transaction and, like others have found PayPal hopeless when asked to do something about it! Why has'nt anyone complained to Trading Standards?.

If you paid by credit card, go that route! It worked for me.

 Herby at 13th Dec 2004, 05:00PM
After I submitted my blagger on Sunday night I requested a refund from paypal. Tonight I logged in to paypal to check the status of my request only to find I had no open disputes on my account. I definitely will not be using Paypal in the future, obviously it is safer to use your credit card at least they will be willing to help you in situations such as this.

I have repeatedly contacted PayPal regarding getting a refund, but I keep getting a generic email back telling me that I should have filled out a Buyer complaint form - which I did already way back in October! Does anybody have an direct email address to anyone in charge at PayPal so I don't have to keep going through the webform in order to contact them? Speaking to some American via the telephone support line is too painful. I can't believe this whole situation - PayPal are not being any help whatsover.

I ordered two DVDs from Softxpress, having found their details on Kelkoo, in August. After waiting two weeks for my goods I tried to contact them but the sales line was temporarily out of order following a move to new premises. I emailed them instead, it took them a further two weeks to send a reply saying they had experienced technical problems as a result of their move to new premises but they were trying to clear the backlog of orders. After a further two weeks I sent yet another email as the website had gone down and could not find their telphone number as for a despatch date for my goods or a full refund. I am still awaiting a response. All I can say is companies like this give internet shopping a bad reputation. I will certainly think twice about using Kelkoo and Paypal in the future.

Further to earlier message, we have finally received a refund from Nochex. Not sure who's to blame but both Softxpress and Nochex seem equally inept. At least we have our money, but will be very wary in future of any internet companies that have not come personally recommended.

 toria at 17th Nov 2004, 03:21PM
Did receive a refund from Nochex so I'm not out of pocket but will be more careful in future.

 jowens at 16th Nov 2004, 09:58PM
Just to let you all know I had a similar problem with some goods and because I went away paypal said they wouldn't do anything because the i had left it over 30 days.

Anyway not to worry because I work for a particular section of the goverment that has access to every companies records so i've been doing a little searching in my spare time and have managed to track some personal details for the "Joe Forster". I wont post anything here but I will tell you all that I've passed the case over to the business fraud investigation unit and 'suggested' they look at any other companies etc he may be related to.

I'll kepp u updated!!!

This has got to be the worst website ever set up, I purchased an item two months ago, totaling twenty pounds. Money taken no item. what can I do, Paypal are "looking in to it" for the last month how long does it take. This was my first time using paypal, and my last.

 phillipcoin at 13th Nov 2004, 04:03PM
I ordered a mobile phone battery from these guys and have of course received nothing. I too received the email about a new warehouse. I sent 2 emails cancalling the order, and received no reply at all. I understand from the entries below that there is no point in going through the paypal complaints procedure to get my money back, so I reckon the only option left is either the police (it's pretty clear from the posts below these guys are not a legitimate enterprise) or the trading standards.

 markterry at 9th Nov 2004, 09:50AM
Hi All

Following on from my earlier posts I have just received a refund from paypal. I sent them several emails complaining at how badly I felt they had treated me, including not even refunding their "commission payment" and that I was going to refer the matter to the FSA if not resolved. To my amazement they replied saying that although they had been unable to reclaim the funds, as I was a valued customer, they would refund my account as an act of good faith!

So keep chipping away - mention the FSA and how badly you feel you have been treated. You might get lucky!!

Good Luck

I lost £210 to these B**tards!!! PayPal were useless in their 'investigation.' What investigation ?!?!?!? Softxpress claim to have chas flow problems and some people on this site are now supporting them. Questions:
1) Did anyone recieve the lies about a new warehouse? In its website the company said it had been around since early 2004 and was taking thousands of pounds in orders. Rubbish, it started trading in August. There was never a warehouse. I was in Gillingham working and looked for the place in the hope of recovering funds. IT DOESN'T EXIST!!!. All excuses about warehouses etc, even dates, were lies.
2) Has anyone recieved the email saying ADC is nothing to do with SoftXpress, they just built the website. Interesting. They have the same address, telephone number and manager, JOE FORSTER. The old answer phone message even said 'thankyou for calling ADC incorperating SoftXpress.' Again, LIARS !!!
3) Refunds are not being given from PayPal. THis money has been withdrawn from their account and they are giving fake tracking numbers etc and claiming items have been despatched. I never recieved my items. I placed a PayPal complaint and just got an email saying SoftXpress were not at fault as tracking numbers were provided. I typed them in and they were invalid. LIARS.

PAYPAL are equally at fault. I have just recieved a refund for my purchase from my credit card issuer and guess what PAYPAL have suspended my account for not using the PAYPAL complaint procedure. Guess what also, I am a seller on Ebay and have nearly £2500 in my payPal account from the weeks sales which has now been frozen. This company is as bad as SOFTXPRESS and I suggest everyone looks at www.paypalsucks.com... I have to post copies of my drivers licence and bank statement to USA to get it unblocked and this could take two weeks. Looking at paypalsucks.com I doubt they'll unblock it quickly. I have had no choice but to call the FSA about this.

SOFTXPRESS and PAYPAL are equally bad.

 furiousphil at 8th Nov 2004, 02:28AM
I have read all the comment on this site about receiving refunds from Nochex, and the comments from these people saying that softxpress just ran into trouble with payment processors. From what I understand these people have only been refunded because softxpress couldn't take the money out of their nochex account. I paid through paypal and have received no refunds due to the fact that their is no money in their account. What they say on their site about Paypal being instructed to give refunds isn't true. It is just another avoidance tactic. They have been caught up with and now they are trying to make excuses. A lot of peoples money has gone missing and unless it is all returned, calling them criminals is not libelous as they have stolen money. What have they done with it all? Did they ever have a warehouse in Kent that contained the items we paid for? Is our money behind their threat of legal action?

 madrhino at 7th Nov 2004, 01:34AM
I have to add my second comment which bears out a couple of other posts. We too received a full refund from Nochex - at least we haven't lost the £210 that we thought we had.

 Maestro at 5th Nov 2004, 02:32PM
I purchased an item from S**txpress as they should be called on 17 September. Contacted Paypal to say that I hadn't received my item total of £41.49 and they sent me this..

""Status: Case Closed
Status Details: Our investigation of this complaint is now complete.

The seller did not respond to our requests for confirmation that the package was sent to your address. Therefore, we attempted to award you a full refund. Unfortunately, there were insufficient funds available in the seller's PayPal account to complete the refund.

PayPal does not consider this a satisfactory resolution of this complaint. We have taken action against this seller's account until the complaint has been resolved.

No further action is required of you at this time.

We value your business and regret this experience. Any portion of the payment which was funded with your credit card will be refunded directly to your credit card. Credits to a credit card generally take two to three working days to post, and may not be immediately reflected in the card's balance."""

By this I assumed that in 2-3 working days my account would receive the money back ---- "no of course not".

I telephoned Paypal today and asked them exactly what this email meant. I was told that any funds Softexpress put into Paypal in the next 6 months clients will be refunded with the money. "Simple as that then". Forgot to mention that "obviously" Softxpress will not be so stupid as to place funds into PAYPAL so they can snatch it from them just as Softxpress snatched my hard earned (part-time) money which I could spend on my kids this Christmas - in fact I would rather put the £41.49 in the bin that never to get it returned. So what do I do now? Paypal said go to the Police (what so they can have a whip round or pay me out of their tea money?). Does anybody now if I can get a refund through my Visa card?
