I found a link to Electrosaver on Pricerunner, as one of the cheapest suppliers of a Sony Dvd HDX890 recorder, ordered online and expected to receive the goods within 3-5 days as advertised.They never delivered them. They promised me delivery on three occasions and the goods never arrived, when I enquired why they had not bothered to inform me that the goods were not in stock and were not out for delivery, they said they had left a message. a lie. I wrote a letter of complaint and never had a reply
This is the first time in purchasing goods online where I have ever had any trouble. I cancelled over the phone, and bought my recorder from Amazon and received it within 2 days
I have contacted my card company and shall be taking this futher these people are a discredit to the retail industry.
Take heed of the warnings,if the goods are not in stock you will never see them and you will be charged
Ordered a Sony KDL40Z4500 telly (£1300 worth)over the phone after asking them to check they had one in stock, which they said they did. Told me it would arrive in 3-5 days and they would phone to let me know it was coming. 1 week later I've heard nothing from them so my wife calls them up to see what's happening.
"Oh, it'll be in stock next week." they tell her so she puts the phone down and tells me. I'm not too pleased and immediately call back but they won't pick up the phone.
Another week passes and I call them again. They still won't pick up, until I withhold my number (141 etc.) when they answer straight away!
"oh, it'll be in stock next week." they say.
"Good for you", I reply, "Now cancel the order."
" Oh, I can't do that and the person who can has just gone home for the afternoon..."
...You get the general idea.
I've now handed it over to the credit card company (who have refunded me), and apparently Electrosaver are refusing to refund Visa! Good luck with that!!LOL
(I was actually considering sending "The bailiffs" round to remove a telly of suitable value like, oh, lets say, a KDL46X4500 (£2500)to recover my costs, but the CC company got there first...)
I notice that all the positive reviews are from people who have bought stuff that was in stock, if you order anything else then you're up stinky creek.
Complete failure to deliver or communicate. New TV ordered mid April,listed as 'in stock', T&C state they will make contact if not available within 14 days to negotiate later delivery or refund. My e-mails after 4 weeks wait went unanswered, phone line impossible to get through during the week, when I finally got hold of someone, they just said that they were still awaiting delivery, no further comment. I have asked for a refund and wait with baited breath if that happens. Cowboy company - avoid! Take the positive feedbacks with a pinch of salt!

hello, tought i might add my view on electrosaver superstore in bradford, very good profesional team of staff with good prices. would happily recommened to anyone with out the blink on an eye.
very good company - had no problems after i canceled with another trader and went to electrosaver as they had item in stock available with express delivery.

Bought TV in Jan money taken - no goods received and still no money returned despite many promises.
Cannot believe any of the positive comments on this company as both Trading standards, their local police and my bank are "aware of them". I am taking them to small claims court and have been told i am one of 23. Court representative was surprised they are still trading given number of CCJs. I have also been talking to a researcher at BBCs watchdog
called up to check item was in stock, got a good idea of what other things i needed ( and wanted ) got a good package delivery including free delivery and snapped it up. good guys , will tell me friends
Ordered a Sony TV KDL40V4000 online from Electrosaver on 03/01/09. Money was debited straight away from my account and was told 5-10 working day for delivery. 10 working days came and passed no delivery and no email or phone call to explain way it was late. Sent an email asking why my order was late and ETA on delivery – No Response. Called a few days later for update and was told TV was out of stock should but should be delivered next week. This went on for over a month (phoned them every week – told same thing).
Had enough waiting so cancelled order and was told money would be refunded in 5 working days. 5 working days came and went – No Refund. Called again told will be in account 5 working days. This was over a month ago since CNL order and surprise surprise – Still No Refund. I have been calling them every week and told the same thing(5 working days!!). No apology or explanation for delay.
Over the course of this saga we send a few emails and have made at least 20 phone calls and each time been told something that they have not once delivered on – No reply to emails, Not one returned phone call from anyone at ElectroSaver, No TV , No Refund….....NOTHING!
Once the company has your money they could not give a dam about customer service. We have given up chasing this company as we are getting nowhere with them and have now got our CC company involved.
ordered a tv sunday 8/3/09, got a phone call monday 9/3/09 and was asked about wihich delivery option i was requring standard or express, i chose express and paid the surcharge, arrived around lunch time on tuesday, plumbed it in the evening now we are on wednesday. very good professional company and service
saw this and felt i had to comment 'This is the worst company I've ever dealt with, a totally unprofessional way to do business with no customer service skills at all. I'd recommend avoiding at all costs. ' i cannot understand this, i had fantastic service, great help and everything top notch. i think some people being too picky. 100% company you may use and see they are great. thank you all who review
after finding out about the soon to be discontinued sony W4500, i rang electrosaver and got a package deal and got express delivery included, goods arrived 7.40 on agreed date and was very happy. glad i used them
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! I purchased a TV on 29 Dec 2008, it was meant to be in stock with fast delivery, no stock for weeks,I cancelled same day and SURPRISE SURPRISE, it is 7th March and I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED - over £1100!!! Not only did their website misrepresent the stock, it won't refund me either. I have telephones them repeatedly and they say that the only person who can process the refund, is the 'manager' who is always out or unavailable. VERY DODGY COMPANY. Barclaycard are now looking into this.
mrs went to buy a washer from electrosaver while I was at work, expecting her to get mucked about, but they asked all the right answers and had it delivered and installed same day. if your local you will benefit. fantastic joobby for a friday aft!

If you use this company do so at your peril
