I spent nearly £1000 with their online service buying a sofabed and a table and chairs. The bed arrived with key parts missing which meant I was unable to assemble it. Hours of frustrating phone calls, during which time I was passed from pillar to post,finally resulted in a bag of bolts being sent to me after three days. Their attitude was that because I'd bought the goods online it was nobody's responsibility to resolve my problem. It cost me a fortune in phone calls, created a lot of inconvenience - since I had unpacked the futon to build it in the first place & didn't have it built in time for a guest who stayed with me - and I couldn't believe it when a I got a dismissive email from their chairman blaming Chinese suppliers for the missing parts but offering no compensation for the trouble caused. Subsequent emails have just been ignored. Their attitude on the phone has been equally unhelpful apart from one poor woman, who manages their Bristol store, who was obviously embarrassed and stressed when her HQ refused to answer the phone. Please do not use this company. They are slapdash, show contempt for their customers and pretend to be listening to their customers. I'm certainly going to ensure that nobody I know uses them again. Terrible.
refused a refund on my £280- half of the cost for an order that was conditional on future information as to size of a place I was moving into I had not measured. When it came to be measured I realised it would not fit, but did not worry as I had agreed with the manager I would be able to get my money back as the date of delivery at this stage was not until a month, which meant that the order had not yet been undertaken to be made. I have been refused a refund and am broke and distraught at the dishonesty in the treatment. There are unfair contract terms operating here and the sales staff are pushy and deceitful. I was not informed or pointed out their no refunds policy.
