Absolutely disgraceful company. I bought a BMW n four years finance. I haven’t missed a single payment for three years. Then I got ill. I called and explained I could not make February payment but would make regular payments from March and pay off my one month arrears. The operator accepted my offer. Out of the blue and without warning I received a default notice this morning (15 March). When I called BMW they denied they had reached an agreement with me. By 2oclock in he afternoon thy had instructed their agents to turn up at my home and take the CAR. I took advice from citizen’s advice who informed me under the consumer credit act they needed to allow me at least 7 days to respond. I called BMW back but they were not interested. they advised me that there agents could take the car back even without the keys and that they would track the car down and take it back by 'force'. What a crap company. One thing for sure, I have had to tell my boss about the situation and take tomorrow off. At least our company will not be using BMW as company cars. It's not worth the headache.
