I called Ace Maintenance to clear an outside main drain. They attended and apparently cleared the blockage, whilst stealing my neighbours spanner and stating he couldn’t be bothered as he had just come home from holiday! Within a few days the drain was fully blocked again – they did not want to know – even blaming my neighbours for flushing things down the toilets (Ridiculous). They were completely unprofessional, dismissive and unhelpful hiding behind their ‘no guarantee’ policy which is convenient. Got another company in to do the job properly – actually I paid Ace £120 to push a blockage along a pipe, and they did not return calls nor accept that the drain would not have filled up within a few days again if it was done properly.
Take advice, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they are cowboys and will not be interested if you are not satisfied which you probably will be. Always get a company with at least 7 day guarantee.
I called them out to investigate a problem with my central heating system which was faulty. ACE stated that there would be no call out charge hance why we contacted them to give advice in solving the problem. They arrived on Sunday (7th Dec) and took approx. 15mins to look and the system and as a result tighten a valve. This cost £81 and within hours of them leaving the problem had returned. I Have phoned them numerous time since then with empty promises of a visit by one of their engineers. They have avaoided returning phone calls and discussing the matter with me or coming out to resolve the problem properly.
