My friend brought me myself and her god daughter tickets to see the scissor sisters next thursday - we have been looking forward to it since we booked it in december!!! My friend rang them today to see when we should expect the tickets to be greeted with a recorded message saying that had gone bust. NEVER BUY TICKETS with theses they are a complete let down!!!!!!

This company would of known @ least 6 months ago they were going into administration, it does seem to happen more and more often. The funny thing is, there accountant will apply to companies house for a new off the self company name and reg number.....hey presto the company trades again under a new name, all done within 2 to 3 weeks. And yes I paid 135.00 for two meatloaf tickets....nice one company fat cats !!!!

My husband booked Justin Timberlake tickets x2 £150.00 back in November for my birthday which is this Wednesday. I hadn't received the tickets so thought I'd check into this to find all on the Web. Great! Just like to say thanks to Tickettout.com for ruining my birthday and also taking the money so quickly probably knowing then the company was about to go pop! No communication whatsoever to let us know either!
Luckily paid by CC so hopefully looken to get refunded. Terrible for all who paid by Debit Card, its disgraceful!

In February 2007 I spent £225 on tickets for wwe
smackdown on April the 24th at Earls Court. These tickets were for a birthday present for my grandson. Now i've got to tell him he can't go I feel so let down but nothing compared to how he will feel he's only 7.

I spent £180 on tickets for an arctic monkeys gig off the website, and found that i will not receive the tickets or a refund. The gig was supposed to be a reward as it is a month after my GCSEs. Instead, me and my friends have lost £180.

Hi, i bought 2 tickets for £130 to see Razorlight. I bought the tickets in December. I have never bought tickets online before so wasnt sure of the procedures. After buying them 3 weeks past and i hadnt recieved my tickets so called them and they explained they dont send tickets untill a few days before the gig. So i put it to the back of my head and thought ok i just wait a few days before the gig. The gig is for the 3rd April and today i thought ohh bugger i havent recieved them yet so i looked online to find out that the company had collapsed!!! I tried to call the hotline number but im having no look getting through. I paid with my debit card so my bank cant really do anything =( can anyone help?? what can i do?? how can i contact these a*** holes?

 victoriax82 at 31st Mar 2007, 03:52PM
I purchased Van morrison tickets for the 14th of april, i was growing sceptical as i hadnt recieved the invoice that was supposed to come 10days after payment. So i tried to email and no reply! after a few weeks, tried again and it was sent back. i searched the internet to find the website again and couldnt find it just an administration note. I rang the number to see what was going on and i was told i will probably get no refund or tickets quite simply.
So i had to buy more tickets which are now only standing room as they are the only ones left! and i am now 150 out of pocket. really annoyed as it was supposed to be fun outing not expensive!

Hi guys,

I'm making a news report for EC1 FM radio in North London about online ticket touts.

I'd be really interested in speaking to someone who's been let down by tickettout.com.

If you've lost out, live in London or the south east and would like to vent your anger then please get in touch - you can email me at adam_london2006 [at] yahoo [dot] co.uk.

Ideally I'd like to meet you in person and do a very short pre-recorded interview, wherevers convenient for you.

Please get in touch asap!
Thanks
Adam

hello, i have recently purchased some tickets from this site for girls aloud and after reading this i emailed them, however, the address is not recognisable. All i can do now is wait...my little sister will be gutted! but not have as gutted as i will be with £85 down the drain!!!! Does any1 know how else to contact them?

 beckytaylor144 at 21st Mar 2007, 11:23AM
If you paid by debit card you can get your money back !!!!!! I thought i'd lost £145 to tickettout for MCR tickets, however because i paid by visa electron barclays are claiming the money back via chargeback. This is a guarentee from visa that claims the money back from the bank that took the money not tickettout themselves so there is every chance of a refund. i found the info here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=283181&highlight=chargeback which was to advise the people ripped off by farepack but the info is still valid - if you paid by debit card call your bank now!! Good luck

The campaign website http://www.tickettout.org is in contact with the administrators of 'Ticket Tout Ltd'. If you have any information that may be relevant or credible in the investigation of tickettout.com please email through the site with any relevant facts and they can be passed onto the administrators directly, who will be able to inform the DTI. The DTI are currently investigating the directors of Ticket Tout Ltd, and are seeking useful information that will also link tickettout Ltd to other online sites under investigation. tickettout.org is also interested in hearing from anyone in relation to any other unscrupulous online ticketing sites? All relevant information gratefuly received!!

This company is awful I remember when I ordered some tickets off them last year, only to then read their online reviews!! By then I had already placed my order and paid by card over the phone (gutted). I then found that they didn't do refunds, I called them anyway to ask for one but they wouldn't give me a refund, so I took drastic action - I cancelled my card!!!! and you know what? it worked!!! They called me the next day to say that the payment hadn't gone through and would I still like to pay with another card? Yeah right!!!!

I too booked tickets for Kylie. After several telephone calls I was told different stories each time. To my suprise I got my tickets which were front row seats, vip bar pass and an excellent ime by all. Fab......

 wendy69 at 12th Mar 2007, 11:13PM
Oh my god I should have read all your reviews before I bought my Razorlight ticket....
I bought it a month ago and have been waiting patiently...until now.
I panicked and called 02071941015, which was the 'Helpline' number shown on the Tickettout Admin website.
Luckily the lady I spoke to was pleasant, she explained that I can claim my money back by contacting my credit card company under 'Section 75 of Consumer Credit Act 1974'.
She said I was very 'lucky' that I paid by credit card otherwise it is impossible to get refund any other way!
So I called up my credit card company...they said they will take the £60 off my account immediately....
And yes I bought another one off a trusted ebay seller!
what a nightmare... If I didn't see these reviews I'd still be waiting quite happily!

I only wish I'd read everyone's comments before using tickettout.com! They took the 235 pounds for IOW Festival tickets from my account - and on saturday 10 mar 07 I received a letter saying they had gone into administration, and it was very unlikely I would get my money back :-(

 losmark at 12th Mar 2007, 01:37PM
We purchased tickets for Lionel Richie concert for 24th march. We received a letter from "someone" (no letter head!?) stating that they'd gone into adminstration and we wouldnt get our tickets AND highly unlikley we would get our money back too!? surely I have a claim against this company?? surely that isnt right!

 esaggers at 12th Mar 2007, 12:21PM
I ordered tickets for B Vista Social Club, Manchester for the end of this month from Ticket Tout, and have received a letter saying they have been placed into Administration, due to the insolvent status of the company I will not be receiving money back. £140 ! for 4 tickets. The website appears to be still be open and trading as well. Totally disappointed....

 mariannepujol at 12th Mar 2007, 11:51AM
I ordered Russell Brand/Noel Fielding tickets recently, and recieved a letter in the post saying the company had "gone into administration" and we would not be recieving our tickets or a refund.
I'm unsure of what to do now, but a definate untrustworthy company. Not recommended, as I am now 145 pounds out of pocket :(

 Solonelywastheballad at 10th Mar 2007, 06:37PM
I have experienced the same problems as everybody else. After feeling concerned about receiving my tickets, I emailed tickettout.com and informed them that if they did not contact me I would seek advice from the Department for Trade and Industry. This prompted a swift response where I was told that I would definitely receive my tickets. I have since tried to contact tickettout.com and have had no response. The concert is now one weekaway. I have kept records of all correspondance made and On Monday I will be contacting the Department for Trade and Industry for advice.

i recently purchased tickets for the buena vista social club in oxford, after repeated emails about not recieving tickets being ignored, my son eventually found a phone number for the company.

when i rang the number, there was a recorded message stating that the company had gone into administration. i then phoned the venue and was informed that they have never dealt with tickettout but had recieved "quite a few" phonecalls concerning this concert.

I've recently purchased tickets to see the Police Live in Colgne on Sept 12th this year. However after just reviewing the Official Police website http://www.thepolicetour.com they don't have a gig scheduled on this date (yet) of course ticketout have taken £250 from my credit card.

(Fingers crossed) will keep you posted.

I sent an email query to them a couple of days ago about this above and have yet to have a response.
