Here's what you need to do:
1. Contact your bank and get them to clarify whether they can dispute the claim for you - find out what they need from you to do this and get it to them, this is probably a cancellation letter. My bank said they have one lady working on "hundreds" of claims against Sandy Vacations - their words not mine!!!
2. Clarify the cancellation period with Sandy Vacations (should be 30 days) and e-mail your cancellation on: processing@twatravel.com; reservations@twatravel.com - put a read receipt on the e-mail to make sure you know they got it.
3. Follow this up with a cancellation letter sent by recorded delivery and make sure it is the type of delivery where you can request confirmation of delivery if needed.
4. You will probably have to wait for their "papers" to arrive and then post these back with another cancellation letter before they will do anything - hassle them to tell you when the papers were sent out and try and track them with whichever delivery company they are using - mine came with Airborne Express and if you get the tracking number you can keep a check of it on their web site which is www.airborne.com
Again - send all this back by recorded delivery and quick delivery where you can get proof of delivery - tell the post office you may need to see the signature.
5. Contact the Better Business Bureau on www.orlando.bbb.org and make a complaint with them - they are very efficient and helpful and are working on claims vs Sandy Vacations already so know the score.
6. Contact the Consumer Protection Service on www.800.help.fla.com - they will also chase things up for you.
7. Keep on at your bank and make sure you keep a record of all communication and names.
Good luck, it took me 6 weeks but I got my money back and I wish the same for you..
