Absolutely AWFUL!!!! The WORST customer service I have ever, ever experienced. Shown UTTER contempt by staff who didn't believe me that the TV wasn't delivered. I could go on and on, but I have already wasted too much of my life on this company. If anyone would like to share their experiences please email me as they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. annabelle_kelly@hotmail.com. I have asked for a refund so I will see how long it takes. I am now stuck over £700 out of pocket with no TV.

I guess that a good part of the bad service attributed to this company comes from their logostics partner Amtrac. The amtrac driver could not find a street in Lewisham. It is in AZ street map..everywhere!

They said they would deliver the next day.
Nothing came. I phoned again. They could not check the whereabouts of the aprcel. The sec said that the boss will check and give me a call...nothing happened. Complained to Digital Direct. They put me on hold..spoke to Amtrack and promised that the goods will arrive the next day.

Digital Direct have agreed to a total refund now.

Promised delivery on a set day. Never turned up. Froget trying to contact Amtrak, they have turned the phone off. I found this out when I collected the telly myself. Got it home, big hole in the side of the telly. They are now getting funny about a refund. Having found what everyone else thinks I will keep them on a very tight lead.
I made all discussions by email and so have evidence to support my comments.
Do not touch this outfit.

Unable to resolve your problems with Digital Direct which is highly likely, I suggest you enlist the assistance of www.imrg.org
Good luck.

this company has caused me more frustration than any other i have encountered! they have had my video camera in and out of repair for 5 months, refuse to even acknowledge any fault, blame everyone else but themselves for the problems, never answer phones, return calls or emails and useless in an impressive but tiresome spectrum of ways, they even returned the camera once with broken shards of plastic inside and blamed their delivers! avoid at all costs!

I have had all the same problems with customer service as previously been mentioned. Bought top widescreen tv on 20th May, and after umpteen repairs (inc new tube) still was faulty. Demanded refund 6 weeks ago. TV uplifted/returned 4 weeks ago, yet STILL no refund, even after trading standards and national press badgering them. I'm £800 out of pocket, and court seems the ONLY recourse I've left. Scandalous!!!!

New lcd tv faulty on first use, no response to fault report form, no response to e-mail,no reply from telephone service dept, unable to leave messages (mail box full.
Surprise - sales always anwer telephone on second ring but can offer no assistance. Suspect this opperation is run by two or three guys in a single room.
At this time in my personal oppinion this company is crooked.

Just the same experience. Ordered a digital camera. Camera was not available in time - asked for cancellation of order and suddenly camera was available. Then it was supposedly sent to wrong address etc. After unpleasant conversations camera eventually arrived but was faulty next day.
Now the real problem starts! After asking for collection of faulty item and refund of money, got reply that collection would be arranged. I sent several further emails and fax to sales and customer services but got no further reply. Also their customer services telephone line is never answered. And that's it - they have my money and I have a fauty camera I don't want anymore from a company I don't trust. Trying to claim back through credit card company.

I too have had nothing but problems. I ordered my cd player on 17 June. Like everyone else, they never respond to emails, phone calls and are rude even when you get through. I had to wait 5 weeks with lots and lots of phone calls and emails, and then they delivered the wrong one. I cancelled the whole thing, but in the meantime they had taken my money from the start. I now purchased it from Electrical Discount, who only take your money when they have a delivery date, and in fact I only had to wait 1 day. I have written to Digital Direct, but no doubt they are such a badly run company, I will be surprised to hear from them. I have also submitted this to Watchdog.

having purchased a sony dav sc6 system for my sons birthday in may. it stopped working after 4 weeks (having not had much use) it was sent back at his cost after 5 weeks. 2 weeks later after playing only 2 dvd's it stopped working again. they promised to keep him informed of the progress but after e. mailing and constantly left waiting on the phone at times for 50 minutes and leaving messages it became very frustrating. after 3 weeks the system was repaired again. he was told that if it happened again the system would be replaced. 1 day after receiving the system back it failed to work yet again and they have once again taken it back for repair. their customer service is zero rated. how can they continue to give a service when they dont answer telephone calls or e-mails

I tried to purchase a Digital TV Box FreeView HD Recorder by Pace. I was linked to this site by Kelkoo. I made my purchase on line using my credit card. This was 18 January 2004. It is now nearly 2 months later. They have debited my cc account but I have as yet received no delivery. I've emailed and written to no avail. They do sometimes respond by email just to tell me to either ring the sales dept or that the goods were dispatched 2 days after my purchase and to contact Amtrak. Phone lines are never responded to. Emails are given anonymous one line replies fobbing me off. I can't seem to get either my money back or my goods. There has been NO sign of an attempted delivery. I can't contact anyone directly. Digital Direct have £187 of my money for nothing.

I placed an order over a month ago and it has not been delivered. All emails and answerphone messages are ignored. No phone calls have been answered after 3 weeks of persistant calling. How did they win a web site of the year award???
