Hi All

I was one of the unfortunate ones to come across this company. I paid on credit card for two tickets to watch a concert in Belfast however the friday came before the show and nothing had arrived. To my horror I typed in London Ticket Shop to find it had gone into liquidation. I contacted my credit card holder immediately and told them of the incident and they are very aware of the company and my full payment has been refunded within 14 days of me complaining. So get ringing the back asap to see where you stand.

Hi there again

apparently if you contact your bank directly and explain what has happened you maybe able to get your money back via them for goods not received there are forms to be filled in but it is worth a try i do not think people will get any refunds from the LTS via insolvency

best of luck and sorry you have lost so much money

it seems to me that this company sells more tickets that it actually has,i have not heard of meeting a "john" outside the venue, off any other company i have bought tickets off.
i digress,
in november i purchased 2 paul mccartney tickets off
l.t.s.at anfield on june 1st and paid 200 quid.
after reading these letters my heart sunk, not the money, but when am i going to get to see macca again on his home turf with global superstar guests in the year that liverpool won cultural capital. could be the gig of the century, and i'm gonna miss it,even booked my hotel nice and early.
the way i feel about this company is not printable, have done all the e-mailing and you guessed it........no reply

I have had the same problem, I bought two Rihanna tickets from London Ticket Shop for december and the tickets were not recevied.

There is a way of getting your money back without their help!

I had paid by debit card so contacted my local bank and after lots of form filling have today got my money back.

I put in a claim for payment of goods not received. It was worth all the form filling.

Lesson well and truly learned though!

Hope this helps you out :)

Me, my partner and 4 of our close friends paid out for Lee Evans tickets in November 07 for the 02 Arena 2008 show in November 08. All in all, it was to be around £720. We have been done out of our money,we have no tickets and have been left with not much hope of a refund. Don't know how these people can sleep at night!!

I don't know were to start about this site, to begin with i ordered spice girls tickets at MEN on the 24th Jan. I must be one of the lucky ones because i ended up going to see them and even ended up with better seats then i expected. But the only thing was the conformation email i recieved said i would get them 3-5 days before the event but this was not the case, what actually happened was i got a phone call on the day asking me to ring a mobile number and ask for a guy called john who would tell me where to meet him outside the arena to collect the tickets, which you can imagine sounded well dodgy. Anyway thinking about the amount i paid i thought i had nothing to lose so i phoned the number he told me where to meet him and what time, also for me to ring him when we got to the MEN so we could meet. Which i did, got the tickets ended up on the lower tier instead of the upper, but while i was there a girl who sat next to me asked where i got the tickets from so i told her london ticket shop. She continued to tell me that she had only sold the tickets a week ago and only posted them a day before the event. so we was lucky to get them at all.

so what i'm saying is be carefull when ordering because i was wonderig if the girl had not have sold the tickets we wouldn't have had any at all.

 borislee at 26th Jan 2008, 04:23PM
please be aware that this company take money and do not have tickets to sell, they have demand that outstrips supply and you will not see your money again!!!

I am very concerned that i have fooloshly bought tickets from this dodgy company. like an idiot i got over excited when i saw that the Mighty boosh are on tour in 2008. i had missed the boat to get the tickets from the venue so paid for 2 from this company. like a div i didnt do my research before buying.... now that i have researched it and read tonnes of bad reviews, i am very very worried. i have only read a few good reviews versus lots of bad ones. im so worried that i wont get my tickets but ill have to wait til october to see if they arrive. i dont so much mind that i may have lost out but i paid for one of them for my brother and he is well excited. is there any advice you can give to this amateur internet user?!!

I am investigating the London Ticket Shop for BBC Radio 2. If you paid for tickets, never received them in time for the concert and have been unable to get your money back, please email the details to radio2bbc@googlemail.com. Many thanks

 foxthefox at 11th Jan 2008, 03:06PM
Yeah - I paid for Bloc Party tickets that didn't arrive. Have emailed and eventually got a reply saying the money hadn't been taken from my account: I pointed out that my statement said that it had: no reply as yet. Some people may get their tickets: many don't. Can you risk it? Please tell everyone you know to avoid this site.

 Letsblag at 10th Jan 2008, 08:51PM
I am waiting on 5 Spice Girls tickets for a concert this week and have only just discovered this site. If anyone could confirm that I certainly won't be receiving my tickets this would be much appreciated! I did read on th Lobndon Ticket Shop website that they do give a full money back guarantee if tickets do not come. So anyone who has not received any money back could quote this? If that is any help!

 ItsLaHoy at 9th Jan 2008, 05:52PM
Online touts don't touch them, i paid with credit card but more importantly i missed the gig! Got my money back from Credit card after i was offered tickets on the day 1 hour before the gig - never mind living 200 miles away. What i can't understand is why a bank will offer these con artists merchant services so they can process credit cards in the first place. Thanks to Londonticketshop.com i missed the foo fighter in 07. The weekend after they played Radio 1 announced they were going to be doing a gig in June 08 at Wembly stadium and that tickets would be available on a certain date, just out of interest i had a look at London Ticket shops website and lo and behold they magically had tickets - even though they were not even released through offical channels. What a load of con artist don't touch em with a bargepole. Got Tickets for Wembly gig through Radio 1. Yeah!!!

found this site xmas eve and worried myself stupid - and ruined xmas - how i wish id never found it. my dealings with london ticket shop have been fantastic, they rang me when they were supposed to to advise when my spice girl tickets were going to be sent to me, they despatched them when they said (in fact at very short notice they provided me with an extra ticket) they contacted me with a tracking number and thay rang me to check we had received them ok.
My dealings were with Alex who was courteous and professional at all times, and put my mind completely at rest from his first phone call.Im sure things do at times go wrong - it clearly states on their website they cant guarantee tickets but will do their best but if you aren't due your tickets yet please dont panic like i did they do what they say they will. for all the negative comments just stop and ask yourself how many hundreds of thousands of their customers receive the same great service i did and are totally unaware this site exists?? if yu like me have received tickets with no problems and with great friendly service leave them some good comments - they deserve it and it will give hope to other people. and no i dont work for london ticket shop!!!!!!!!

 joannahinkley at 6th Jan 2008, 10:05AM
I am currently experiencing difficulty in contacting this company, although I have emailed them on two occasions this week. My dilemma - I bought 2 Spice Girls tickets in October for what I thought was £257 each, however was then charged £750!!! No explanation-nothing. I am currently awaiting these 2 tickets and the concert in on Saturday 12th, obviously I am very anxious and now very concerned that this company will not deliver the goods or get a refund.
Does anyone know if the UK telephone number works? Help!!

 monks73 at 5th Jan 2008, 10:47AM
My daughter & her friend brought two tickets for the Spice Girl concert at £350.00 EACH, back in august.
They never got their tickets.
So dont feel sorry for this company, just for th poor people who have lost not only their money, but maybe there only chance of seeing their idols!!

 rubypax at 28th Dec 2007, 03:01PM
Dear All
I would like to set some things straight. This company is certainly not illegal even if not the best organised... still it fairs favourably compared to most other ticket agents. It clearly states on its website before and while you book that on certain occassions they might be unable to supply tickets. What is more you are guaranteed to get your full money back (not a portion like most other agents) under their money back guarantee. And what about the stress, well if you never paid attention to all these comments then you would be none the wiser and simply wait at home blissfully waiting for your tickets to arrive. This is what I did and my tickets most certainly arrived ' last minute but they did arrive!

 markslegs at 26th Dec 2007, 02:55PM
PLEASE PLEASE do NOT use this so called company.
It's an elaborate hoax and it's NOT legitimate.

We have just returned from the MEN arena having been told by the London ticket shop that our tickets ( paid for in MARCH, at x2 the face value) would be hand delivered by a courier.

We discovered over 30 others waiting along with us, and when he eventually turned up almost an hour late, he had just TWO tickets and a wad of cash. We saw him covertly buy a couple more off a tout and then he did a bunk. He RAN off and vanished.

No tickets, kids in tears and some families £400 out of pocket.

They provide one or two people with tickets to make themselves look almost plausible. They tell you it's not their fault the "agent" does not have the tickets and they even ask why would they answer the phone if they are fake? ( it's actually a mobile number, not an office).

Thery work hard to make it look legitmate, but it is NOT.

I have been ripped off and many others were tonight too.
They are based in Hungary so it's very difficult to do anything about them.

Please tell anyone you know NOT to use them. DO NOT BE FOOLED.

 TSL at 24th Dec 2007, 01:13AM
DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THIS COMPANY - THEY DO NOT DELIVER.
BOOKED TAKE THAT M.E.N ARENA FOR 23RD DEC. THEY HAVE HAD MY MONEY SINCE MARCH! I AM GOING TO GO TO THE PRESS BIG TIME. NO TICKETS HAVE ARRIVED - GUTTED.

i have purchased 5 tickets for bonjovi in june 2008,because of the name i presumed it was a london based company i realised when i tried to get in touch with the company to confirm my tickets it is in hungary.I then read the reviews and alarm bells started.I immediatly contacted my cc company but the money had been taken straight away.I have e.mailed several times and tried to telephone no reply to either. With all these reviews i am surprised at google still supporting the site.I am now trying to get my money back via my cc company as to attend the concert i need to book travel arrangements and accomadation i do not like the idea of meeting someone on the day to get my tickets and if they do not arrive i will lose more money for accomadation and travel. As the concert is in june 2008 i would save myself stress trying to cancel now and trying to obtain tickets from a reputable company.

 onewildnight at 20th Dec 2007, 02:01PM
This company is I would say totally unscrupulous and should be avoided at all costs. My son bought two tickets in September for Bruce Springsteen at the 02 on 19th December, paying more than twice face value. He never received confirmation of the ticket purchase, and despite dozens of phone calls and emails they never arrived. Two nights before the concert was due to take place they phoned to tell him that no tickets would be forthcoming, despite the fact they were still being offered on their website for three times what he paid for them.

He was promised a refund but the next day they claimed he had bought the tickets from a totally different website, despite our faxing over proof that the money had been taken from his bank account. Concerted action is needed (report them to the OFT, European Trading Standards and BBC Watchdog for good measure) to shut this site down. I'm not optimistic that he'll get his money back.

I bought 3 tickets in February for take that at MEN arena on Tues 18th Dec. I had no tickets by friday so i emailed them. i received a call saying that the tickets would arrive on monday 17th between 9am and 1pm. They never arrived and i decided to ring the number for the "courier". No answer and couldn't leave a message as the voice box was full (probably with messages from annoyed customers). I have now sent an email threatening them with legal action if they do not send the tickets. I urge everyone to not buy from this "company" and anyone who has been ripped off should get in touch with Watchdog, i certainly intend to! Will let you know if i do receive the tickets.

 sam-redders at 18th Dec 2007, 12:05AM
i applied for tickets fro take that on the day they were released. got 2 tickets from this outfit at a reasonable price.
hadn't received the tickets so i emailed them on saturday 15th dec got a call back saying they would be hand delivered on monday 17th bteween 9am and 1pm. as you might of guessed they haven't arrived. have tried ringing but get an engaged tone.
I AM VERY ANGRY... NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER !!!!!

 jmingham at 17th Dec 2007, 04:45PM
WARNING! Do not use this company. I ordered Take That tickets for tonights concert at Manchester MEN (14/12/07/), I got a phone call to say they would arrive on Saturday, they didnt. They did however turn up this morning, I live in Sunderland and there is no way I can get to Manchester by tonight. So 2 tickets wasted, paid £155. FURIOUS! Tickets are going spare if anyone wants them.
