i too had an intial phone call asking if i might be interested in sponsoring some books, no costs were mentioned and to get rid of them i said i might be interested.
they contacted me again about 6 months later saying they had the 100 books i ordered and i owed £462. i protested and they said they could cut my order to 30 books at £189. i said i had not ordered anything and didnt want to pay and they are now threatening legal action - should i pay up or just ignore them??
Originally i got a very pleasant phone call from a lady regarding childrens books and i thought it was a good thing to help. I felt she had appealed to my better nature and when she dropped the cost on me (after me agreeing to help) i felt embarrassed to say 'hold on, sorry no'
They didn't explain to me about my 7 days cancellation period nor did i get a contact number to speak to them once i felt i should cancel.
When searching for them on google all i found was blagger.com listing them as a bad company with another bad review.
They are threatening and do not listen. All they want is money and i doubt that these books find there way to any of the schools.
IGNORE THEM ! DON"T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THESE RODENTS!
I feel sorry for genuine companies that are trying to helpschools etc.. because of criminals like these i will ignore all future calls although i will when i have made a bit more money from my business find out a genuine comapny and sponsor them.
We have been hounded with threatening phonecalls and letters from this "agancy" for several months now, saying we took advertisements out with them and we owe them money. They are very rude and aggressive on the phone. We have at no time agreed to anything. They are now in the process of taking "legal action". This is just one in a long line of companies that have been harassing us. We are at the end of out tether.
