DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! and be aware that they will continue to reinvent themselves under different names and rip people off until something is done about this practice. this company and many like it are using increasingly convincing websites to get money off people - only use ticketmaster or buy from the venue or from an ebay seller with good feedback.
This company are an absolute joke!! After very extensive investigation, it turns out that their website was deactivated in March 2009. I had purchased 4 tickets to Madonna for the concert in Manchester 7th July. Needless to say £355 poorer - the tickets did not arrive.
I have since written to Trading Standards for London, and have received a response from them to state that they are looking to discharge the company. However, you are able to claim back monies from your credit card, and even if you paid on switch.
If you paid with a debit card you need to request a "charge back" from your bank. They will know what this is, so don't let them fob you off!!!You need to get them to advise re the Chargeback process. I was fortunate enough to have booked on my credit card, and until I received the letter from trading standards, was unaware that you could/can claim back even if you used a debit card.
I hate the fact that companies like this can get away with this!! And in no way does the possibility of getting the refung recompense for the dissapointment of not attending the event.
That said - I will only use a named ticket sales company such as Ticketmaster in the future. If they can't get them, then its detined not to happen. Especially Where SmartHospitality are concerned!!!
I ordered and paid for tickets to Bruce Spingsteen concert in Dublin on the 11th July. No tickets, CC debited £185 in january for which I received a reciept. Spoke to consumer direct, who were less than helpful. The only way to recover the money is to go through the CC company, which promises to be a lengthy process.
I find it incredible that they get away with this kind of fraudulent bahaviour yet the authorities do nothing about it - perhaps a visit to DMD sales (same company by the looks of things) may do the trick, but failing that, theres no way to get in touch with them. Emails bounce back, website disappeared, phone rings out.
No point saying stay away because they don't seem to exist anymore...... :(
I'm still waiting 4 my tickets for Madonna's in Werchter sat 11th July, I received kind of an invoice months ago but no tickets yet...
Is there any way to charge them?
I brought Blur reunion tickets for Friday 3rd July at Hyde Park back in December. I recieved a very professional receipt promptly through the post and was advised that the tickets would come through a week prior to the gig.
We are now the day before the concert - NO TICKETS!
I've tried calling and emailing but emails bounce back and the number is unobtainable. I feel such a fool for being taken in and absolutely gutted that we are unable to go.
Hopefully I can get my money back from the credit card company, but apparently you have to wait until the concert date has passed before you can do this.
I bought tickets in January 09 for a concert next week i am still waiting on the tickets and cannot get in touch, has anybody got any email address or phone numbers that can help me
Anyone rate my chances of getting my money back on the Michael Jackson tickets? When oh when are these ticket touts going to be regulated? It makes me sick that they can just take your money then dissapear overnight.
I would advise anyone to not use this company to book concert tickets. I am still awaiting tickets for the Madonna concert on the 7th July (a weeks time). I cannot get in contact with the company and their website has disappeared off the internet, so I'm not being filled with much confidence that I will receive them taking into account all the other bad experiences other people on this website seem to have had with them. It is very disappointing to find you have been mis sold to with no tickets to show for the money paid for them.
I too paid for but did not receive my Take That tickets from these people. My young daughter and her friend are heartbroken as they were so excited and I am seriously out of pocket.
We ordered and paid for Take That tickets in October last year and we have not recieved anything. The phone number is unavailable and the website out of business.
Please keep away from this company and other similar named sites, use only those that you know are legitimate.
I have lost £210, be warned.
I bought two Take That tickets from this company in october last year (08)paying a total of £301.40 thinking that they were top seats. The company checcked out ok with a fantastic website and I spoke to someone on the phone.
The website has vanished along with any other information relating to this company and my money.
I felt completly sick and generally let down that companies are not screened/monitered by fraud organisations. This company was the top of Google search and im sure i`m not alone in being ripped off. They sold tickets for just about every West end show-top sporting events.
The concert was a suprise for my husbands Birthday .
I ordered and paid for Take That tickets in October 2008, for their concert on 27 June 2009.
I was promised i would receive these tickets 4 weeks prior to the event, to date i have yet to receive the same.
I have tried to ring them but the line is dead and emails have been returned back to me. I also sent a letter via recorded delivery, they have yet to receive this.
I am really gutted i cannot go and see Take That now!!!!
i never got my ticket but i paid and everything and got a confirmation sent to me. did you ever get your tickets? my concert is in 3 days so I dont know what to do? how did you go about getting your tickets?
I bought tickets for Wales/Ireland in RBS Six Nations and received an email to say my order was being processed and would receive confirmation of the order before payment was taken. Payment was then taken without any contact.
Tickets have not arrived (match is 4 days away and I order tickets a month ago) and I have received no response to 3 emails I have sent. Tel numbers on their web-site simply ring out. However, if you try to book tickets on their web-site they are still taking bookings, and taking your money!
Do not buy anything from this company. They are a hoax. I bought tickets to a consert and they changed the currency from when I booked to when they charged me. I was charged approx. £190 more than my booking confirmation. Called to cancel, they confirmed they would pay back, but I have not seen any of my money (£ 1.750). And now they do not answer mail or telephone anymore.
KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
