| Pitney Bowes | The price they charge for ink is far too high - liquid gold would be cheaper! Once you buy their machine they are the only supplier of the ink so you have no choice - a fact they take advantage of to make a very high margin on what it must cost. They then add insult to injury by charging a very high rate for postage. Dacol at 5th Oct 2007, 04:33PM |
| Double Take Uk | I went there with my wife a few months ago after my wife got talked into one of their promotions. The promotion price of about £50 was just the start. The aim was to sell us each a cd of photos for £600 each - thats £1200 for the visit for two. If we wanted prints that would be extra at prices which were , shall we say rather high. I refused to pay any more money in addition to the promotion price which got us a couple of small prints each. A couple of months later they phoned to offer me the cd for £100 as they would be deleted if I did not take them. I said no following which the price droped to £50 for each cd. I'm now waiting for the next call offering both cds for £50 which would be a fair price for the images they produced. If you are prepared to spend £1200 then they are ok but remember that the initial promotion price is aimed to get you there and hard sell you a very expensive set of images. | Talktalk | I've transferred to talk talk broad band about 8 months ago. Set up was a little difficult but no problems since then and I 'm saving over £20 per month on bt's package. I would transfer to them or perhaps Sky if you are with BT. |

| 0151 Advertising | It may be an official magazine but when they called me at my office the caller told my secretary 'This IS the Police - can we talk to the owner' This is a VERY underhanded way to get past a secretary(mine is well used to telling cold callers that we are not interested in anything they are selling) and when I took the call I wondered if one of my children had been run over! I smelt a rat immediatly and asked him if he was selling advertising space. He admited that he was selling advertising for a police magazine and was Not infact the police. I was disgusted by his underhand tactics (i.e lies) to get through to me so immediatly put the phone down. So why do they say 'we are the police' 1. to get past a secretary (sucessful in my case) 2. to subtly imply that if you do not advertise with them you will not be supporting your local police? |
| Orange | Orange have no regard for the public with regard to the installation of masts outside residential homes. They are now installing a mobile phone mast outside my front door after months of protest by local residents, local authority rejection of their proposal and letters from our MP to their company Chairman, all of which have been ignored. After all that all they had to do to get their mast allowed was to appeal to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (Prescot) and they got permission without any proper inquiry or regard to the local community. No other mobile phone company has behaved in this manner and we receive signals from all other networks without problem. Only Orange ignore the representations and objections of the public in our locality. I would never use their phone system in protest at their dreadful lack of care and respect to local residents. I wonder if their Chairman would like one outside his front door and allow his family to subjected to possible health problems. |
| Waitrose | Simply the best combination of top quality food selection and outstanding customer service. I've been shoping at Waitrose for 25 years and have always found them to be the best food shopping experience available. No wonder they win so many customer satisfaction surveys. |
| D J Colom & Co | 'David Morgan' has never been a client of DJ Colom & Co and is most likely connected with Parasol IT - see separate string of comments posted to their own name. David Colom |
| D J Colom & Co | 'David Morgan' is obviously a malicious comment from those 'nice people' at Parasol IT - How very childish. It is a poor reflection on Parasol IT that they have to resort to such underhand behavour and perhaps explains the negative comments from their own unhappy ex-clients who have posted on the Parasol IT string |
