| Authorised Publications | Authorised Publications. I was chased by this company to publish several ads in their Self Care/Community care guides in 2010, as my business was just starting up, and these were to be distributed in my target market, I was interested to go along. After that all communication from AP Ltd stopped, until I started getting a bill for over £800. I contacted them to let them know I had not received any proof, or confirmation that the publications had been distributed. I have also been contacted by several other people who advertised in the supposed "proof" copy of the publication asking about my experience. Together we requested confirmation that the product had been delivered and in what areas. I received around 10 pages of addresses, however most were duplicate addresses, or locations which no longer existed. Of those that did exist, I visited the location in person, taking the proof copy along with me, and asked the staff if they had received delivery of such an item. Not a single location that they claim to have distributed to, has received the copy that was supposed to be distributed, or any other version of these items. Almost 2 years later they continue to hound me even though this case was escalated to trading standards, and as they have not distributed this publication, they are in breach of contract. Every 6 months, a new debt collection agency attempts to bully me into paying the debt they claim I owe but I refuse to pay for something that does not exist. As previously mentioned, you will soon see several positive reviews attempting to push this negative review off the page, but the companies who do post positively either don't exist, or have never heard of Authorised Publications.  schamness at 23rd May 2012, 11:12AM |
